What Is A Website, Anyway?

In my last post, I talked about what a basic website really is very briefly. In this particular post, I would like to answer a different question about the definition of a website that most beginners ask me. What is a website, anyway? The basic definition of a website below can give you some idea.

Basic

A website is a collection of related web pages, images, videos, and other digital assets that are hosted on one or more web servers and can be accessed via the internet using a web browser. Websites can be used for a variety of purposes, such as providing information, selling products or services, allowing users to interact with each other, and more. Websites can be created using a variety of programming languages and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and others. Websites are identified by a unique URL (Uniform Resource Locator) and can be accessed by typing the URL into a web browser or clicking on a hyperlink.

Website

If you have read my last post about the definition of a basic website, does the definition of a website above sound similar or different? You will be right if you say that there is some similarity between the definition of a basic website and just a website.
